Monitor says "Out of Range" when set resolution to 1366x768

Post by kropotkin »

I have a Windows XP Fit-PC2 connected to a Digitrex CT15717 monitor using the HDMI cable. The native resolution of the Digitrex is 1366x768. I have tried the two GMA500 drivers referred to from this forum and neither offers this resolution on my system. The IEGD driver does offer this resolution but when I select it my monitor just says "Out of range".

My monitor does not offer lots of fancy phase adjustments etc. Any idea what's going wrong? I want to use the unit for displaying a slideshow so using a sub-optimal resolution defeats the purpose of buying it.

Please check the supported refresh rate of the display.
First you can boot at VGA mode and see if you can specify that refresh rate using IEGD. If not possible you can generate IEGD driver with that refresh rate.
