OpenGL for GMA500

Does anyone know if a driver that supports OpenGL 2.0 will be released in the near future? Without it, there's no XBMC (for Windows users at least).

There is no OpenGL support planned for GMA500.

So the fit-PC2 is never going to run XBMC/boxee/etc.? I think that ought to be mentioned pretty prominently somewhere, as a lot of people (myself included) are going to want to use these bits of software to run an HTPC.

Based on information I found around the web the GMA500 does support at least DirectX 9.0E and Open GL 2.0

I read on some sites that it supports DirectX 10 as well.

I don't know about DirectX for sure, but the problem I've encountered is that although the hardware supports OpenGL 2.0, the current drivers - both IEGD and the proper GMA500 ones - don't. As far as I know we're still waiting on Intel for that.
