You can read that there is a new driver at "Linux Mint 9 is officially supported".
At http://edc.intel.com/Software/Downloads/EMGD/#download I can just find:
Fedora* 11 (Timesys kernel 2.6.29, X.server 1.6 DRI2)
MeeGo 1.0 IVI Linux (kernel 2.6.33.3, X.server 1.8.0)
So, I can't even find "Mint Linux".
Is there a chance to use that driver at other distributions? Is Xorg 1.7 supported?Denis wrote: There is a new graphic driver available - EMGD IntelĀ® Embedded Media and Graphics Driver. In comparison with previous IEGD drivers:
- Better 2D, 3D (Visual Effects) support.
- Suspend/Resume working.
In comparison with PSB drivers:
- Xv video playback works fine.
