WLAN has very weak connection

Hello
I have 2 fit-PCs, and the one I have had just delivered, a fit-PC2i, is not behaving like the first one.
I have a Wireless N network, and my first fit-PC connects no problem at all, and given the proximity, signal strength is strong.
However, the second one barely connects at all, in fact, so weakly, I cannot connect to the PC remotely.
I have discovered that the wireless connector on the back of the PC is slightly different. On the first PC, the central connector is slightly protruding, allowing a good connection to the antenna. However, on the new one, it is slightly recessed. This tells me that the antenna is not making a good connection hence the weakness of the signal.
How can I fix this?
thanks
Martin
