Is the fit-PC2 XP HD capable of playing the very heavy AVCHD H.264 videos the Hauppague HD PVR creates. I've read in the forums that it should be capable of playing these, but I wanted to see if anyone has actually used one to encode and to watch using the Hauppague HD PVR.
thanks in advance

If you can upload a sample somewhere, we can test.

here's a 720P sample. The other download is too slow

Re: FIT and Hauppague
I was able to play the first file at first, but then every time I tried playing any of the files, the computer bluescreened - both in Windows 7 and in XP. This was with Media Player Classic Homecinema v1.2.1161.0 and it's DXVA decoder.
Re: FIT and Hauppague
http://www.sendspace.com/file/n6jqv4 plays smoothly in WMP11, resolution 1280x720 at 28% CPU load, with CyberLink H.264 video codec and ffdshow audio codec.
The only apparent problem is a strip of color below the picture.
