PCIEx1 for SSD

I see in the SBC link that was in another post:

the following is listed:
mini PCI Express includes PCIEx1, USB (EHCI), SMB, power supplies. Available only if "W" option isn't used

Can the wireless card be removed and a miniPCIe SSD put in its place?

This voids warranty but technically possible.
Adding miniSD, SSD or USB flash is preferred.

irads: do you see any technical issues booting from an SSD connected to the Mini PCIE slot?

Yes. BIOS is not known to support that.
