When the PC2 is disconnected from a monitor, the current draw increases by about 100 ma. Anything I can do to prevent this (since it is a low power application without a display) ? The current draw remains low whether the monitor is on or off but will also increase if the power is removed from the monitor. I'm guessing there is some sort of termination problem, but I can't find anything in the hdmi or dvi specs.

During the power loss, monitor will drain current from FitPC2's DVI port. So, there is nothing that can be done. I have measured 20mA current drain with my unpowered monitor.
