Pre-Sale Questions

Post by sinerasis »

I'm thinking about the Fit PC2-diskless or linux (I'll be running Windows XP or 7, which I have my own license for).

This will be for a car setup to mainly run GPS software, but might also include some file server duties, music playing, and possibly movies (just to show off).

The graphics hardware looks fine for me, I'm not looking to game or run lots of HD video. It always lists max resolution as 1920x1080 (due to the home theater possibilities). I'm wondering if it can do the more pc monitor friendly 1900x1200? This would be a must.

I would like the Instant On model, is that for sale via Amazon or just directly through this site? Is there still a lead time? Can the Instant ON be disabled on the Instant-On models?

In short:

Is 1900x1200 resolution running Windows supported?
Where can I get the Instant-On model?
Can Instant-On be disabled?

Thanks in advance.

You can buy from a reseller or from www.fit-pc.com (using PayPal)
There is still a longer lead-time for ON units.
