Subversion/version control server

I'm looking for a low-footprint server that I can access from anywhere, and I'm put off by the scare stories of affordable NASs. I'm mainly looking for something I can use as a private Subversion server, or perhaps some other version control system, that I can access from anywhere. Would the fit-PC be suitable?

Assuming your not trying to back up sourceforge.. LOL

Then yes.

Nooooo, nothing like that :) Just a bunch of private projects, perhaps even some files.

I probably wouldn't even use Subversion in the end, as I'm getting used to Git and Bazaar.

svn commit -m "Committing changes to thesis work to my Fit-PC2 server on ubuntu" ;-)
Works fine here!
