Basically, I am curious as to what the ambient room temperature range would be considered "safe" for an operating fitPC2. Normal operation would be "light - moderate" CPU utilization, but short runs of moderate - heavy could be an occasional factor.
I ask this to get an idea of the environmental surroundings I can place the fit in and be somewhat confidant that temp troubles may be minimal.
Any information on expected improvements after adding a heatsink to the case and possibly a small fan, would also be appreciated.
Thanks,
Scott
Operating Ambient Temperature Range?
Re: Operating Ambient Temperature Range?
Indoors fit-PC2 would work just about anywhere as-is. Ambient should be kept below 45C for the health of the hard disk.
With the heatsink and a small fan ambient can be about 55C.

Hi,
Can I order a heatsink direct from you ? What is the pricing ? French reseller on your website does not seem to be proposing it on its website.
Thanks for your help,
Cyril
