Hard disk question

I'm looking at buying the diskless PC2 version, and I would want a Western Digital Scorpio Blue WD5000BEVT 500GB disk in it. With this larger disk volumes also comes a higher operating temperature. Would the cooling of the Fit-PC2 be sufficient to allow this disk to be installed?

There is no direct correlation between HDD volume and its power consumption. There is correlation between RPM and power consumption. For a 5400RPM HDD you have in normal operation conditions (room temperature, not under HDD stress test) about 10-15deg margin between disk actual temperature (40-45deg) and disk max temperature rating (55-60deg).
