How to make fit-PC2 boot automatically after power failure

Post by Dutchy »

In many BIOS's one will find a setting about what to do when power returns after a power outage. Typically it does offer you the option to:
1) Leave it switched of after power returns
2) Always swich on power when power is applied to it.
3) Return to the state it had before power was terminated (in an uncontrolled fashion)

Is there a way to achieve behaviour 2 or 3. I have one sitting on my desk for the purpose of evaluating it for intended use in an industrial (unattended) setting and this is a showstopper for me.

Acceptable action would including flashing a new bios or and even placing a jumper iso a power switch (if possible at all)

Help would be appreciated as the fit PC is otherwise a very fine candidate for our equipment.

with kind regards,
Rene

This is often asked:

But as short answer, you need to buy a special version of the fit-PC2 with this feature.
