Does somebody know which is the best Win7 version for fit pc2?

i installed win7 ultimate, and it becomes a little bit slow, when i open a few windows! resolution is 1900x1200.

does ultimate need more performance than starter? -i mean cpu and ram

what about n versions, do they need less performance?

how can i tune up my fit pc2 in performance?

Driving 1920x1200 does require a lot of system resources since the system is UMA (no dedicated graphics memory).
Try to disable Aero to improve performance. If your applications do not suffer from reducing color depth this can also help (set to 16bit).
Other than that any general Windows 7 tuning tip can help performance on fit-PC2. In particular check memory intensive tasks since the system RAM is only 1GB.

Regarding RAM is there no possible way to expand memory in FitPC?
I'm using an USB stick for ReadyBoost and it does'nt seem to matter at all.
I have a SSD drive, is it meaningless to use ReadyBoost?

RAM cannot be extended.
Some users reported some improvement with readyboost, but it may be marginal.
