Boot issue after sudden power failure

Post by gregoryv »

Hi,
I can no longer boot my airtop3. I've reached out to the support but want to check
here if someone has any tips.
While I was running a backup over the network, my Airtop shut down and the front display went dark as if the power was cut off. I haven't been able to boot it up since.

The only indicator I can see, is the green light on the power supply. It is bright green when not connected to the computer. However when it's connected to the computer it flashes very dimply and there is a ticking sound from the computer.

This is what I've tried;

- followed the instructions on the support wiki
- switching power supplies
- using the two different inputs on the computer
- resetting bios
- removed RAM and storage(NVMe)
- unplugged all other cables, displays, usb, audio

The result is the same when I connect the power.

- front display is dark
- ticking sound from computer
- power supply indicator flashes dimly

Any ideas on what can be the cause of this? the computer was cool at the time, not doing much apart from the reading from the NVMe.

The specs of my machine

* Temperature range: Commercial temperature range 0°C to 45°C
