I have a 24' (1920x1200) LCD with DVI-D. Can fit-pc2 work with it?

Hi,
I try to connect fit-pc2 to my plasma Panasonic 42px80E with max resolution 1024x768 through hdmi.

http://www.panasonic.it/html/it_IT/Prod ... kInfo=true

Ubuntu pre-installed seems start ok but when X Server start after Ubuntu Splash Screen, the screen become blank (black).

What's wrong?

What's the pre-configured resolution in Ubuntu?

Thanks.

Hi.

The Full-HD format of TVs is 1920x1080, not all chipsets support that.

Regards.

What's the maximum resolution that the Fit-PC2 can support?

Pixel clock on SDVO interface is 160MHz. That should be the limiting factor.
1920x1200@60Hz is confirmed to work. I have no indications on higher resolutions.

I think you meant, 1920x1200 (as 1900x1200 is not a standard resolution)

Thanks for the feedback! :)

I had my Fit-PC2 connected to 30" Dell, with native resolution of 2560x1600, however Fit-PC2 allowed setting at most 1920x1200.

2560x1600@60Hz requires a pixel clock of 245MHz. fit-PC2 supports up to 160MHz.
