HDMI / LG problem

Hi,
I have been using an LG LCD TV - 22LS4R which has an HDMI input successfully for 9 months or so with my fit-PC2, but last night the picture just disappeared.
I connect using a standard HDMI to HDMI cable.
I have 3 cables and have tried all of them.
I was connecting a LAN switch and wanted to get into the bios to activate the LAN card. When I rebooted the computer I forgot what key to press to get into the bios and the bios screen never had time to appear before the Windows screen came up. I rebooted three times and tried pressing ESC and F3 several times on startup. On the fourth try the TV just showed a "No signal" message and I have not been able to get it to work again.
The TV works when connected to another PC using VGA - VGA and the input set to RGB.
The TV does not work when connected to another PC using a HDMI to HDMI cable.
The TV works as a TV.
Could the repeated reboot (3 times) while pressing F3 and ESC possibly have destroyed the HDMI circuitry? sounds strange but strange things do happen.
I don't have a VGA converter.
I am based on a sailing boat (currently in the Red Sea) and don't have access to much computer equipment for testing or any repair facilities.
