fit-Uptime saved me some problems

My fitlet-H is used as media server, as well as other services like CUPS for printing.
Tonight during some updates, power went away. My desktop crashed, but good old
fitlet-H stayed up with it's fit-Uptime. Guess it's time to invest in a UPS for my old
desktop.
I do wish fit-Uptime had 2 features. A USB power port so that we could power a
peripheral with it, even without A.C. power. And a USB status port, so the host could
monitor the fit-Uptime and determine when it's battery was getting too low. Thus,
perform a graceful shutdown.
Of course, I could simulate the later by detecting A.C. power loss. Then start a timer
for shutdown. If A.C. comes back, then cancel the shutdown.
