I am looking to buy a 38 inch dell. I do not see the resolution of that monitor on the list?
3840 x 1600 at 60Hz
Thoughts? I will be driving from a MacBook Pro Retina 2017

We're checking on that and get back to you as soon as possible.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Unfortunately we do not have a Fit-Headless with that resolution configured.
Here's a link to all the Fit-Headless supported resolutions:

So can I put in for a feature request to get this size? Or will it just stretch it?

Unfortunately there is no concurrent work on extending this feature.
It is not recommended in such use, when the exact resolution isn't emulated, in most cases there will be display issues or hangs/freezes.

I hate to be a pain. I guess I just do not understand how Apple is supporting this res that it is not available on FitPC?
If I plug in the Dell, it instantly gives me the option as seen above in the screen shot.
I am in Sierra (not even High Sierra) and it is there.
Would those not transfer over to your dongle? Sorry to be a pain.

The EDID information saved on your screen is what you see in the MAC's GUI.
Same for the fit-headless, it has a set of pre-configured resolutions available, but that's quite it.
