I would like to add ESATA connectors using a card like this one:

Can you please let me know if it there is a chance that it is compatible with Airtop?
The card specification states: Interface: PCI Express 2.0
The Airtop specification states: 1x 16 PCIe 3.0
Physically the slot in Airtop is much longer, but it seems to me that the short card could fit in as well?

The card will most likely work with Airtop.
PCIe card x1 / x2 / x4 / x8 is compatible with PCIe x16 slot.

I put a StarTech.com PEXESAT32 2 Port PCI Express 6Gbps eSATA Controller Card into my Airtop, and it is working perfectly. The card is miniscule, but it came with two different heights of shields and the taller one fits the Airtop.
