More usefull than my actual HP notebook?

Hello,

I want to buy the new Mintbox Mini to replace my actual notebook that is hooked to my screen, keyboard... (yes a notebook used as a workstation).

Will the Mini be faster than my actual PC?

Here is the actual config:

HP Pavilion IntelCore i5CPU M430@2.27Ghz x 2
Memory 5.8Gb
Graphic card: NVIDI GT216M (GeForce GT320M).

No. In my opinion, the processor used in the Mintbox Mini would not be faster, (or not
even as fast), as your laptop. Even the Micro A10-6700T used in fitlet-iA10 or
fitlet-XA10 would not be as fast.

Basically the fitlet is lower power and designed for other uses.

If you are looking for a silent, lower power PC, that is similar to performance as your
laptop, then you can take a look at Complulab's Intense PC line. The fit-PC line is more
for low power and less expensive uses, with the fitlet being the smallest.

Thank you very much Arwen for taking the time to answer my question, and you've just guess, I am looking for a silent and low energy computer. I will look at your suggestion. So no Mini for me
