remote power button cable routing

Has anyone figured out how to route the cable for the remote power button through the chassis? If we drill a hole in the chassis, does that void the warranty?

My to-do list includes "write an application note on that".

Drilling a hole in the chassis will not void warranty. Easiest to drill on side panel.
If you prefer not to mod the case you may unscrew the power button (one tiny screw from the inside of the case).
