Documentation update - fitlet-H

Post by Arwen »

My order is in for a fitlet-H.

While making sure it was suitable for my use, I found this diagram likely
has a typo;

http://fit-pc.com/download/fitlet/docum ... iagram.pdf

It shows the "Micro SIM slot" attached to the "Mini PCIe / mSATA Half/Full
size" slot. I would have thought it would be on the non-mSATA slot, just
like the rest of the fitlet models.

Further, the non-mSATA "Mini PCIe slot Half/Full size" slot has a reference
"To FACE Module", but it's not clear what that goes to. If it's the PCIe lane,
then the PCIe mux needs to be flipped left to right.

Note that neither of these affect most users. And not for my use, as I don't
need cell-phone or WiFi in my setup.

The block diagram of fitlet-H is correct. -

SIM goes to mSATA/miniPCIe port. This is to allow WiFi and modem in conjunction. You still have the 2.5" for SSD/HDD.

The FACE Module is on the right of the diagram. Note PCIe lanes to "on-board muxes".

I hope fitlet-H works well for you. In some respects it is more capable than fitlet-iA10.
