ATI driver

Hi,
With MintBox Mini (LinuxMint 17.2 cinnamon upgraded to 17.3) -> Driver Manager
I have:
Advanced Micro Devices, Inc [AMD/ATI]
This device is using an alternative driver.
Three options:
1. xserver-xorg-video-ati (recommended) (open-source)
Version 1:7.3.0-1ubuntu3.1
X.Org X server - AMD/ATI display driver wrapper
2. fglrx-updates
Version 2:13.350.1-0ubuntu2
Video driver for the AMD graphics accelerators
3. fglrx
Version 2:13.350.1-0ubuntu2
Video driver for the AMD graphics accelerators
Option 2 is checked (and I do not see any problems).
My question is, should I check option 1 which is recommended?
Thanks
