Hello,
we are using a several ammount of IPC2 with Haswell core i7. When I realised that their BIOS should be updated, most of them where running on 3.330.3 and the BIOS-update to version 3.330.7 succeeded without any problems. But one of them is running 3.330.5 and here the operation "startup.nsh" stops the countdown at the position of 1 second left and I don't get access to the drive. Anybody an idea?
Thank you
kind regards
James
IPC2 Haswell BIOS-update: startup.nsh stops countdown
Re: IPC2 Haswell BIOS-update: startup.nsh stops countdown
Problem solved!
I just found the answer on my own
Usually I insert mouse and keyboard into the USB2.0 connection sockets. And keeping on doing so I inserted the memory stick with the new BIOS on into the USB3.0 (our models have only 2 USB2.0 and 2 USB3.0 connection sockets).Updating from version 3.330.3 to 3.330.7 worked fine this way, but not from version 3.330.5. Now I did another try, but now I inserted the memory stick into a USB2.0 connection socket and it worked
I hope somebody might help this knowlegde
