Can you tell us is there a RS232 connection and or JTAG connection on the PCB of the fit 2 pc.
We recieved the unit today for R&D and would like to develop our own board support package for our version of Linux.
Most boards of this type have JTAG or RS232 connections that we can hook onto.
We fully understand the warranty implications of doing this.

fit-PC2 is not the right product for that.
Check SBC-FITPC2 at

We assummed that the board in the fit2 PC was the SBC-FITPC2, it seemed quicker and easier to order the Fit2 PC from our UK distributor and then evaluate the board.
Are you saying that the SBC-FITPC2 has the JTAG and RS232 and the board in the Fit2 PC does not?
Can the PCB in the Fit2 PC have a jtag connector retro-fitted by ourselves?
Are there any schematics available for either the Fit2 PC or the SBC-FITPC2 PCB

CompuLab is catering for the embedded industry for over 15 years, and we have an established support system for integrating products like SBC-FITPC2 into customer designs.
It may be quicker to buy the fit-PC2, but then you are not entitled any kind of technical support beyond using it as a plain PC.
The professional approach is to contact CompuLab and register as an industrial customer with a support contract.
