Hello,

I have read the datasheet and the forum but i haven't found any good response.

It's possible to install a ssd in the mini pci-e? Msata seem not possible or a pata style like we can found in some old netbook.
Ie i don't care if i can't boot on it. It's only for /opt or /urs/src stuff.

Ie2 its a new pc intense pro with i7 3rd gen.

Thanks you.

In a current revision there is no mSATA support on an IntensePC. We will add the mSATA support in an upcoming revision.

Hello Gabriel,

I am also interested in buying an Intense PC. But a mSATA Interface would be mandatory in future.
Is the mSATA interface officially planned? - Will the update work with a current model of Intense PC or will be there a new hardware revision?

Best regards,
Ghent

The mSATA support evolve a hardware redesign, therefore there is no way to activate the mSATA support in the current models. The first batch of IntensePC rev 1.2 (with mSATA supported) is planned to Q1 2013.

1. Are there any other changes to IntensePC rev 1.2 beside mSATA support?
2. Will it be possible to buy rev 1.2 without Wi-Fi and BT, like fit-PC2i Value?
3. Can you say if it will be early, middle or late Q1?
