64-bit or not 64-bit, that is the question

I find conflicting information on whether the fit-pc is capable of 64-bit.
On one hand, many forum posts claim the device is 32-bit only.
On the other hand, the reference manual (at http://www.compulab.co.il/fitpc2/downlo ... sb-man.pdf) says
• Support for IA 32-bit and Intel® 64 architecture
• Intel® Virtualization Technology (Intel® VT)
Intel seems to indicate that the Z530 does not support Intel 64.

Frankly I'm surprised the question isn't on the FAQ, given the popularity of 64-bit these days.
If the answer is 32-bit only, then my next question will be.. when can we expect a 64-bit model?
Thanks in advance for an official response.
