Not sure what is going on.

I seem to lose my network connections on my FitPC 2

If I power down the machine and power up they are sometimes come up, if they are present and I just do a restart most of the time they don't appear again.

Anyone know what the problem could be?

The same problem is reported with stock XP Ethernet drivers.
Make sure to install Ethernet drivers from www.fit-pc2.com/download/xp-drivers
After installing shut-down and disconnect power before rebooting - see http://www.fit-pc2.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=1638

Thank you Irads for the reply.

I made sure I had the update drivers and powered down the pc.

Everything was ok both NICs were present.

Tried to do a simple restart without powering down the pc and the problem happened again.

Power down the pc turn back on and the NICs are there, I tried all this several times with the same results.

This is not a good solution that I have to power cycle the pc everytime to get the NICs to work in the event the PC needs to do a simple restart.

What is the next tests that we can do?

Thank you

Some how the Ethernet controller enters a faulty state that is not reset by reboot - only by power cycling. This scenario does not occur in systems with factory settings. What's left is to find out how your system differs.

Please provide complete information - computer model, serial number, Windows version, how it was installed, Ethernet driver version.
