Best way to access Embedded Fit-PC2 via Wifi

We just ordered our first XP HD unit today. This will be used in an enclosed embedded project. With XP Home installed, what is the best way to access the Desktop remotely? Home does not include this unlike Pro.

Is there a good software package or tool that will let us access the Fit for program installation, updating and testing via Wifi?

We would like to leave the software and drivers as you have installed them if possible, rather than wipe it and replace it with XP Pro. We only have full replacements, not upgrades, for XP Pro.

VNC and LogMeIn are the 2 options that I use. Both have free versions.
