If I try to upgrade the BIOS on my intense pc to the latest version and I can't boot VMware anymore can I downgrade too?
Is the oldest BIOS Version: CR 2.2.0.262 x64 available somewhere? I don't see where to download it.

Re: Intel Active Management Technology?
For the life of me I cannot get AMT on my Intense PC to work. I can login to the web console at http://192.168.2.9:16992/logon.htm but cannot do any remote management like turning it on or a KVM session. Has anyone actually done this? I've attached a screenshot of the error I keep getting.

Re: Intel VT-x & VT-d
It runs pretty hot. I read most do, its suppose to be normal. Hot enough that I can't hold my hand on top of it.

Re: Intel VT-x & VT-d
Apparently you need to do more stuff first as mentioned here:

This URL shows the i7-3517UE used in the IntencePC Pro supports everything...

Re: Intel VT-x & VT-d
I can confirm at least that an Intense PC Pro i7 (QM77 chipset apparently) works fine with VMware 5.0 ESXi (Update 1). Not sure if its using the VT-x/d or whatever but it installs and runs fine.

Re: Disable WiFi
yes, I'll have to try to do it from within the OS. The OS is VMware 5 ESXi.

Re: Disable WiFi
I'm surprised to hear that. I always thought this was possible by default. I'm installing VMWare 5 on my intense pc and I was hoping to make sure vmware didn't see and try to use the Wifi NIC as a valid NIC. I guess its not important.
