Re: Switching back to WZC from Ralink

I am not using the Ralink utility but you normally right click on the WiFi ulitity icon on the taskbar and choose zero configuration from the little popup menu.

I only install the actual drivers and not the utility program at all any more because I find that Windows 7 does it really well.

Re: Booting from the mini-SD slot

You can also boot from a USB memory stick, but perhaps it is not big enough for what you need.

Re: USB Problems

It is already set to GV3 Only. In fact as far as I am aware everything is at default except LCD clock which had to be changed with the latest bios. These are my settings: Hyperthreading = Enabled Processor full speed = GV3 Only No Execute Mode mem protection = Enabled Intel virtualization = Disabled...

Re: conceptional question / usb HDD / Raid

Hi, Yes it is an excellent idea, I am looking into the same concept. However I have a fit-PC2 and I can only say that the USB ports are not very stable. First of all they are always powered - even when the computer is switched off. The supplier says this is normal because it is an embedded computer ...

USB Problems

In addition to the power issue with the USB ports I also have the following problems: When the computer is running and I plug in an external HD the fit-PC2 recognizes it only sometimes. The same goes for other USB devices. When not regognized I have to power the computer down, plug in the USB device...

Re: 4 fitpc's and only one working with display ProLite E1700S

If you have just updated the bios it could be the "LCD clock" setting under "extra" which is default to disabled but needs to be changed to enabled.

USB dilemma

Windows 7 fails to recognize devices plugged into any of the USB ports from time to time, and when it happens it is persistent so I have to reboot the computer. Everything else is running fine. I have tested with a printer, several HD's and several USB memory sticks so it can't really be a malfuncti...

Overclocking results with the 23 Dec bios

The overclocking seems to work fine using the new bios setting under "extra" and here it how my fit-PC2 1.6Ghz reports. 100% = 1.6Ghz 108% = 1.73Ghz 112.5% = 1.8GHz Windows Experience Index: GHz____(1.6)__(1.73)__(1.8) CPU........(2.2)....(2.4)....(2.5) RAM........(4.3)....(4.4)....(4.5) Aero..........

Re: Video problem after 23 dec bios update

Thanks Irads, Thanks, setting "LCD clock" to "Enabled" (from the default Disabled) solved the problem perfectly. The fit-PC2 is still a fairly new computer and as most people on this forum I am testing it to the max in order to make it better and so I will keep report my findings and suggestions for...
