Re: Installing linuxmint on SSD pc2i
Hi, SSD is a 8GB unit, the operating system typically uses about 1-2GB, 1GB of swap, so, 4GB must be free in any case. You can use the Wiki on Compulab's website to see, how to install linuxmint onto your fit-pc2. Normally SSD just like a HDD, no need to do tricks. The H8 must work out of box. Cheer...

In our case, the configs look like this: Apple TV media box ----- Fit2VGA adapter ----- Acer PD 523 projector and Apple TV media box ----- Fit2VGA adapter ----- Benq PB2140 projector It seems, Apple TV cannot work in this kinf of config. I think, the "bug" is in the ...

Fit-VGA question - attach to projector does not work
Hello guys, I have a client, who has a fit2vga adapter and it is working well with a desktop media player attached to a TV with VGA input. Unfortunatelly when he plugs it to his projector, the projector still black, there is no video output. I did not find any useful on the forum. I guess, the adapt...

Re: MemoRight GT Series 32GB SLC SSD doesn't work
I can confirm this kind of issue:
Fit-PC2 sometimes failed to detect SSD, after power on/turn on.
Seems BIOS issue (EDIT: I mean, it seems to me).

Re: Fit-PC2 Optimized Ubuntu 9.10 LiveCD available
Hello guys, sorry for my late response, I was busy. Thank you for your feedback! So, regarding Firefox, yes, it extremely slow and has problems with generating pages. Due to that, I built a newer livecd, where I put google chromium, too. Transparency I forgot to tell you, you have to run xcompmgr , ...

Re: Fit-PC2 Optimized Ubuntu 9.10 LiveCD available
Sure: I used the google to find an ubuntu livecd customization document, which I followed and made my changes: Here it is, click here. Excellent step-by-step documentation. There is no uck, remastersys or other magic tool used for it. I had bad times with remastersys and uck, so, I simply followed t...
