Re: VGA (or lack thereof)

Hi there,

fit-PC 3 comes with an HDMI to DVI adaptor, so is it not possible to just extend the supplied adaptor with a DVI to VGA adaptor such as the one shown in the attatched image?

HDMI --> DVI --> VGA

Re: fit-PC3 Block Diagram

Hi there, It is a pity that the CMOS battery is soldered-on. This is the Achilles heal of every fit-PC! I think it is fair to say that every CMOS battery in every fit-PC will fail at some point. Going by my own experience, CMOS batteries seem to last about 10 years on average . I don't buy a new com...

mSATA and HDD Dual-Boot

Hi there, I would like to use fit-PC 3 Pro to dual-boot Windows 7 and Windows XP. I would like to install Windows 7 on an mSATA drive and Windows XP on a HDD. I would like to be sure that this idea is perfectly workable before spending any money. As there are no AHCI drivers for Windows XP, the BIOS...

Re: No SATA III on fitPC3

Hello there, I have read on a related post that fit-PC 3 is currently transitioning from revision 2.2 to 2.3, which adds support for SATA II with mSATA modules. So I realise it might be rather early to be asking this question, but none the less, I am interested to know if there are any plans to do a...

Re: Typical Wattage at Idle - Model Comparison

Hello there, I have two question areas regarding the power consumption of fit-PC 3: 1) Are the provided power consumption figures a measurement of the power consumption at the AC (wall) socket? I.e. Do the figures take into consideration the power used by the transformer and a typical 5400rpm HDD su...

Re: Windows XP compatibility

Hi there, Please can you clarify whether Windows XP is now fully functional on all versions of fit-PC3? I ask this because, having found this forum, I followed the links to the Windows XP drivers, where I found 3 drivers provided specifically for Windows XP: Audio Ethernet Video Does this mean that ...
