Re: answers needed
Hello guys the sd card slot fit pc 2 is too small. why is that the sd card does not fit into the fit pc 2 slot? I try to keep forcing it. It doesn't fit because it's not a sd slot, but an mini sd slot. I also bought a SSD 30gb sata II 2.5", but realised that not many computers take it as it is quit...

Re: Linux Mint 9 is officially supported
Disabling effects fixed my screen issues, thanks. The rt3090 should work out-of-the-box, at least mine does. Xv is working and even suspend works fine. Looks like a good release so far, however, as I have an ubuntu lts set up and working, I won't make a switch until I have some more time playing aro...

Re: Intel GMA 500 no video.
You could try the drivers provided by compulab themselves. The display driver is in the fitpc2 (not fitpc2i) directory. Maybe this works and fixes your problem:

Re: Linux Mint 9 is officially supported
First of all thanks to the guys at compulab for releasing an official supported lts version! After the updates are installed from FitPC sources, the display started to act funky. Especially when a window is maximized all of the screen get scrambled, sometimes it recovers from the situation when you ...

Re: Ad-hoc setup with Ubuntu 9.10
Using the driver mentioned by [1] in lucid should return: configuration: broadcast=yes driver=RALINK WLAN driverversion=2.3.1.7 ip=192.168.23.32 latency=0 multicast=yes wireless=Ralink STA I don't know how 9.10 output should look. However, rt3090 driver shares quite some code with rt2860. The defaul...

Re: Ad-hoc setup with Ubuntu 9.10
For lucid use the ppa at [1]. AdHoc mode is a driver issue. I don't know if this driver supports it.

Re: Linux OS for Fit-PC2i revision 1.1
No, the desktop versions should work just fine if prepared in the same way. The problem exists in the driver module and the 4gb onboard flash (maybe related to the fact that pata supports master and slave drives while sata only features one drive per port). However, I don't have a fitpc2i (in this r...

Re: new EMGD driver?
Official supported doesn't necessarily mean that Intel supports Linux Mint (which in fact is some sort of an ubuntu derivate). It's just the solution proposed and supported by Compullab. The "new" driver will be available Q1 2011, see:

Re: remote control problem: no /dev/lirc0
Just to compare, I've got a few questions: 1. What's your lirc version? $ lircd -v lircd 0.8.6 The lirc_igorplugusb driver reports itself being for LIRC v0.2 .. Is it official Ubuntu version? Yes, default lucid repo. 2. What's your output of "ls -l /dev/lirc*" ? (I only have /dev/lircd) $ ls -l /dev...
