Re: Fitlet iA10 Current and Power Levels
Hi hassellbear, Thanks for your response in my other thread. Your measurements are great. I am however stumped by the low power consumption you get at full CPU load. Your measurements at full CPU load show: 4.5W TDP ==> 6.5 Watts Consumed 10W TDP ==> 8.7 Watts Consumed My numbers are quite different...

Reducing Power Consumption
Hello, I'm trying to reduce power consumption of a fitlet-iA10. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and with the computer at idle it is consuming 5.5 Watts (after the power supply). This is a clean install of Windows. Nothing is connected to the fitlet; no display, no keyboard, no mouse, no USB devices, et...

Re: Mintbox2 Wake On Timer
Thank you mbirger for your response. Your product page is a bit misleading. Everything else in the list I copied from your product page are typical BIOS features. Why would a windows feature be included in that list? Using Windows to wake the PC is only possible from a sleep or hibernate state, not ...

Re: Mintbox2 Wake On Timer
Can someone from Compulab comment on this, please? If it's not an actual feature, just let me know. Non-response is much worse that a negative response.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Mintbox2 Wake On Timer
Hello, The mintbox2 is marketed as having: Auto-On Wake-on-LAN Wake-on-Timer PXE Boot Watchdog I am particularly interested in the Wake on Timer feature as the Intense PC doesn't have this. I just purchased a mintbox2 on amazon and while it does have a different date on the BIOS than the IntensePC B...

Re: USB power-off on standby?
Hello mbirger. We're running Windows 7 on our Intense PC Pros. In testing our units, the rear USB ports only turn off when the machine is actually off (S5) or in hibernation (S4). Sleep doesn't seem to disable these ports, though i'm not sure what version of sleep Windows uses (S1,2,or 3). This oper...

Determining Input Voltage
Hello, I'm wondering if it is possible to determine whether the IPC is running from a power supply or battery. For example, we run our IPC's with a 13.8VDC power supply that only switches over to a battery when AC power is lost. The battery voltage under load is around 12VDC, so there is certainly a...

Re: New BIOS for Intense PC released - 10-Apr-2013
I tried reinstalling the driver and it didn't seem to fix the problem.
I re-downloaded the driver and then reinstalled and the problem disappeared.
Looks like it's all working well now.

Re: New BIOS for Intense PC released - 10-Apr-2013
A bit more information... I dug around in the Windows Event Viewer. An error was logged when trying to start the service. It says: "The watchdog service depends on the TVicPort64 service which failed to start because of the following error: Watchdog is not a valid Win32 application." Any ideas? Than...
