Re: Windows 10 and Intense PC

I upgrade one Intense PC Pro to Win 10 Retail x64 PRO and ran it for 2 days. I had to upgrade my Broadcom driver for my Azurewave AW-CE123H before the upgrade so the Bluetooth would work. Found audio off after upgrading. Had to uninstall audio driver. Downloaded newest off RealTek site for Win 10. F...

Re: I want to load 'reFIND' in EFI Bios.

Well yes I can create a usb refind key and boot into refind from it. Then launch the 2.0 shell and use bcfg. Typing 'bcfg boot dump' shows me the boot menu in order of option. It matches the UEFI setup's boot menu with 14 choices. In UEFI bcfg boot dump has From 00 to 0D. I can add but the 00 entry ...

Re: I want to load 'reFIND' in EFI Bios.

I've placed reFIND in the EFI partition. But having trouble editing the boot mangers priority list in nvram. The internal 2.3.1 shell for tiano in the x400 bios is very limited. the BCFG isn't availiable like in the newest shell. Going to try use a refind bootable key and to use the newest shell fro...

Please upgrade the x400 Bios's internal shell for tiano

The x400 Bios is using like a first addition 2.3.1 Shell for Tiano. Its commands are limited as its usefulness as a shell. It's missing useful & needed commands like bcfg, guid. and etc.... I'll it currently gives you are file commands which basic but do nothing towards controlling multiple EFI boot...

First I'm using x400 Bios I have the ESP(EFI Partition) and EFI. If I pull the Hard Drive I drop into EFI Shell. Re: Problems Booting from USB

If you drop into UEFI shell. You can change to and mount to any of the drive. If they are UEFI drives. you simply can change to the UEFI PARTITION within shell and then directly launch the boot loader. This how I installed Win7 Pro to my Intense PC in UEFI mode.

Re: Boot to USB to install Windows 8.1

Hey Windows 8.1 is a UEFI system only. It's not old bios. That would mean that the usb key would need three partitions. 1st UEFI. 2nd MSR. 3rd your NTFS. The CD has a UEFI partition on it. When you boot the CD. you must boot it from the UEFI partition (where the boot loader is). Also, windows 8.1 wo...

Catching F2 on Boot to get to BIOS

It just speeds on by to the OS or boot drive or SHELL I pulled to hard drive to get it to boot the USB to update the BIOS. I was able to get into bios once. I che...
