Re: As a buyer and Owner of an IntensePC looking at the IPC3
I see IPC3 v2 now has nVMe in 2280. But is only 2 PCIe lanes vice the normal 4 PCIe Lanes. so clearly the typical 3500K transfer speeds for say a Samsung 960SSD would be cut in Half. Plus it only one mPCIe port vice two. So you only can have only one mPCIe nVMe SSD vice two. So still no super High S...

Re: As a buyer and Owner of an IntensePC looking at the IPC3
Intel can pair up all they want with Microsoft. But in the end it can only hurt them. I refuse to be push in to a serviced based OS. It a major mistake to let Microsoft push drivers and for OEM chipset maker not to release them for all the OS's. Nobody should accept that. If the product doesn't have...

As a buyer and Owner of an IntensePC looking at the IPC3.
First let me say I love the IntensePC and line of them to the IPC3. It's metal case, no fan form factor, features, and low power. You have all that in the IPC3 with newest processor too. But the only advantage is the newest CPU here. And, I find Windows 10 a disadvantage. That's forcing me to Linux-...

Can fitPC produce a Tiano UDK2017 for the IntensePC
I like to use a Bluetooth Keyboard with the IntensePC at the UEFI level, Shellx64, rEFInd, Grub2, Acronis True Image EFI and etc at the EFI level. Can fitPC produce an official "Tianocore UDK2017 UEFI Firmware" for the IntensePC? That would be killer before the EOL. The UDK2017 brings in Bluetooth s...

Re: IPC3 ?
Dual NVMe drive doing 3GBs+ would be killer too. A fast super fast os drive and super fast backup drive. My acronis has a EFI app and I setup an icon on my refind boot manager menu. Backup normally are done with acronis in Windows. But I have a usb key and the EFI app option too. On my Intense My ma...

Re: IPC3 ?
The IPC3 must have UEFI Bluetooth support at the UEFI level. Essential in the bedroom and living room wireless TV environment.

Re: I want to load 'reFIND' in EFI Bios.
I got refind to work on IntensePC. Now if I just get Bluetooth wireless keyboard support. OR a Hid Proxy Bluetooth key. Or a Logitech K810 keyboard that also does Unifying like the new MX 2 Mouse does.
I wish refind had a mouse driver verse keyboard only and now touch.

TianoCore 4.5 or greater with Bluetooth support
Yes the IntensePC is old. I did not buy the IPC2 because the CPU was only a gen higher. Plus it buggy, unstable and the release was out of stock when ever I looked back then. It now at the Intel 5000 series level but I'd like new IntensePC 3 (or 7) with the latest Intel 7000 series. The Intense PC i...
IPC3
Quad Core i7 6xxx series. With Win7 drivers. Win10 can not be used (Microsoft to blame for that. I like privacy and control). I'm switching to Ubuntu 16.04. The next IPC3 needs USB3(x2), USB(x1), SD Card reader Face. Displayport 1.2, HDMI 2.0, USB 3.0(x2) USB 3.1, LAN. 802.11ac Wireless 2T2R that's ...

Re: IPC3 ?
I don't seeing my self purchasing a IPC2. Waiting for the IPC3 myself. And, I won't purchase that with out a 6th GEN Intel, 3.1 USB, And a UDK2015 UEFI bios with basic bluetooth support that works in UEFI Shell & Setup.
Love my IPCs by the way. But the bluetooth angle and keyboards needs solved.
