Re: Click sound
The IPC3 has no moving part except for a possible HDD installed on your machine No HDD. Disk is M.2. There are no moving parts. It is perhaps that very silence that allows me to hear the clicks. I think the click sound is coming from the speakers. Simply opening up Settings / Sound is often enough ...

Boot disk menu key
Is there a key to press during boot (i.e. while the BIOS is executing) that will bring up a boot disk menu? I know that I can press the key to get into BIOS settings and then change the boot order within the BIOS settings but some BIOS implementations give the somewhat better option of bringing up a...

Click sound
I have an IPC3 running Ubuntu 19.04, and sound output is via the analogue port. From time to time I get two click sounds one after the other in quick succession. Is this intentional? i.e. some alert or notification sound that is attempting to tell me something. If so, what? Is this a bug? I have a v...

Re: Linux mint 17
I'm talking about "official support".
I know I can try as many distros as I like. I have tried a few. The ones that I have tried so far have been a bit dodgy on this hardware.

Re: [SOLVED] IPC2 Audio re-routed via HDMI/Display Port
I can't do any testing because I haven't been able to buy the IPC2 i7 that I want yet ... but on another distro (Ubuntu) with other hardware I have seen similar behaviour i.e. the presence of a (real) HDMI output results in the creation of an additional audio output and it is unknown exactly how the...

Re: IPC2 i7 Barebone availability
We expect to have stock within two weeks now. Any update on this? At the present time, your direct ordering page is showing "out of stock" for all configurations of IPC2 but I myself am interested only in the i7 Barebone. If it were ever orderable and had instructions for installing Linux, you woul...

But that's "Supported until July 2014", which means it could be out of support before anyone can even buy the IPC2 i7 barebone.
Surely you are going to "upgrade" the official operating system to Linux Mint 17?
