Apparently after some time and a couple of cold reboots, the PCs has registered the MAC address again and PXE is now working as expected.

No it's the first rev. of the fit-PC3 product line. Will this procedure only work on a rev. 2.3 board? If that is the case I have two questions. 1. Should we safely be able to perform this firmware upgrade on a 2.3 rev. board? 2. Any idea to how we can "re-insert" the MAC address on the customers ol...

Our customer ended up with 12 0x00 as MAC address after following this procedure to update the Realtek Ethernet Controller. Has he done anything wrong or could this be another bug?
