Re: Linux Mint 9 is officially supported
Even many more thanks to lucian! This seems to have worked well so far. The only question I have here is: What needs to be done after adding the lines to the text "sources.list" located at the path "/etc/apt/"? I tried to close the teminat, but keep getting the message: "Close this terminal? There i...

Re: Linux Mint 9 is officially supported
The file name contains the full path of where to find it and adding the lines is just a matter of using a text editor (there are several to choose from). Thanks BrotherRichard, Unfortunately I don't understand what this means. :?  :( I guess, with the "file name" you mean: "/etc/apt/s...

Re: Linux OS for Fit-PC2i revision 1.1
Thanks guys! fit-PC2i revision 1.1 works with all Linux OS, server, desktop, whatever. The only problem is installation from liveCD/USB, because hard drive is not detected. I'm afraid this is not the only problem, as I have Ubuntu 10.04 desktop edition installed on the SSD but don't seem to be able ...

Re: Linux OS for Fit-PC2i revision 1.1
Does this mean that the Fit-PC2i revision 1.1 only works with the server version? Is there security support available for this? What can be done with this version or what can't be done? All I need is access to the internet, audio, video and VoIP. Wasn't it sold with a desktop version, and why is thi...

Linux OS for Fit-PC2i revision 1.1
Hello, As I bought a Fit-PC2i revision 1.1 without the HDD (nor with an OS), I don't seem to be able to get it working with my HDD and with a regular Ubuntu OS. Has anybody installed Linux Mint on this model, and does everything work fine? Apparently the Ubuntu OS which works with the Fit-PC2i revis...

How to install the BIOS update on Ubuntu
Hello,
Please inform me how I can install the BIOS update 100422_fit-pc2i_1GB.zip on Ubuntu.
I already extracted it, so I got a file called DEVEL55X.ROM.
I can't find an option to install it.
I have a Fit-PC2i rev 1.1.
Many thanks in advance!
manoka

Re: IDE and SATA to USB adapter
I connected a IDE 3.5" HDD and a DVD drive.
Apparently, the problem is not the adapter but the HDD and the DVD drive, as the former works with another IDE 3.5" HDD.
Many thanks again yogev_ezra!
