Re: annoying noise
I'm an Electronics Tech. clearly it all comes down to Loading. A mechanical Hard drive uses "More Power" an a SSD uses way less. The this places the overall loading on the Power Supply to less. So the designed loading curve on the MOSFETS most likely shifts. And that's why you hear the noise. Compul...

Re: No UEFI DVD Boot drive in SecureCore Tiano 2.2 UEFI BIOS
gabrielh, So outside the normal NON UEFI DVD Drive, your telling me you got the 2nd "UEFI DVD drive" boot choice with your Win7x64 disk installed in a DVD drive connected to the usb port? I never got that. I tried different win7 disks. A Ubuntu disk. and the rear usb 2.0/3.0 ports. Just didn't happe...

Re: Ok if the new intense goes to sleep it does't wake up
gabrielh,
Allow this device to wake u the computer was checked.
I think it more basic than this. I think its the over power state level turning off the USB port power I think it goes to far into sleep.
I need some way detailing exactly what the Sleep mode is doing with the power states.

Re: Ok if the new intense goes to sleep it does't wake up
gabrielh,
I'm looking. But I don't see that option.
Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Power Options\Edit Plan Settings
Advanced.
It does make sense I should see it. But it's not there? Any ideas.
As right now I disabled sleep. But I still need to resolve that issue in this build.

gabrielh,
I don't need to do that. My method worked fine from the efi shell.
The Bios still needs fixed.

My findings.
I have a Fit-PC3 Pro. I boosted the memory to 8G. Installed a 512GB 830 Samsung SSD. I pulled the 802.11n Radio and installed a 2T2R 802.11ac radio. I have lots of video. 1080p, 720p, and below. The computer in the computer room acts as the file server. The Fit-PC as the mini computer hooked to the ...
