LAN Port Device ID Order
Hi, I am using a fitlet2 and LAN facet card to run pfsense. It works great. Only thing I would like to change is the order of the LAN ports. Is there a way to reorder the PCI Dev ID on the Ethernet ports? I would like to be able to have them go 1,2,3,4 ...

Re: Fitlet2 for PfSense!!
I've used various Fit-PC and Fitlet equipment for pfSense over the years and generally, been really happy. Currently using an RM 4LAN Fitlet (previous version) with 8Gb RAM and a 256Gb SSD for various routing, firewalling, IDS/IPS (Snort), VPN, caching ...

LAN Interfaces Not Visible in OS
I bought a fitlet2 (E3950) directly from fit-iot.com, planning on using it as a small form factor pfSense router, but I've hit a snag. The Ethernet interfaces are not visible in any OS. I've combed through the BIOS, and can't find any option that would enable or disable ...

Unable to install OS
... MicroSD. In this case I get to the bootloader to select single user, multiuser etc and it shuts down after a selection is made. I've also tried pfsense as this is to be a pfsense box and have read about the needed kernel options to get it to boot. However with these applied I get immediately ...

OpenWRT 18.06.1 Throughput
... are any other ideas on what to try. It seems like there is performance headroom but not sure what could be the limiter. I know most folks use pfsense but OpenWRT is a great option for those interested in Cake/SQM for bandwidth management. -Mark

Re: XA-10: FreeBSD / pfSense NIC freeze
Hi lutzn, We are not aware of mass network ports failures on Linux/Windows7/Windows10 machines. Possibly it's something specific to FreeBSD family kernels. Please clarify what exactly hangs. Do you see related kernel messages? Do you see device in PCI listing after the hang? Are you able to dump it'...

Re: XA-10: FreeBSD / pfSense NIC freeze
Compulab provides full support for Linux mint only.
Nevertheless, we will try to suggest optional solutions, but cannot guarantee the proper functionality on FreeBSD.
forwarded the information to the R&D for advice.
Thank you.

XA-10: FreeBSD / pfSense NIC freeze
Hi, we and our customers are using fitlet-XA-10 with pfSense and have the same problems for a very long time now: The NICs simply do hang after a while. We are very experienced with pfSense and manage pfSense installations on different platforms since ...

GPU disabled if booted without HDMI connected?
... that the GPU is disabled. Is that correct? I want to have it as a headless machine, but if for whatever reason I need to access the ESXi/pfSense/etc console and connect a HDMI cable, the monitor isn't coming out of standby. Is there a BIOS setting to force enable the GPU always? Thanks.
