I've tried all of that with no help.

I was hoping for someone to tell me that I have to change a BIOs setting, but I will send this in an email to support.

Does not see msata drive

I have a new fit-pc3 that I installed memory and a 500gb msata drive and when I attempt to install Ubuntu server it can not find the drive. I have updated the bios to the latest.

Please advise

I tried installing the pae kernel and now it core dumps on boot so I guess that won't work...

Ubuntu 14.04 sees only half of 16GB memory

Upgraded to latest BIOS and the BIOS shows 16GB, but the newly installed OS does not and sees only half in /proc/meminfo and free -m.

Anyone know if this is an OS problem?
