Re: Accepting Auto-ON orders
Just a quick update. Received the unit without Instant On from The Book PC in Florida. Very nice company to deal with. Unit works perfectly. Only drawbacks are the power plug and the on switch. Once the unit is installed and working don't breathe on it. If you do you will either disturb the power pl...

Re: Accepting Auto-ON orders
Thanks Irad. I figured I would be grayer than I am if I waited for an Instant On unit. I ordered it without Instant On from The Book PC yesterday. It should be here in California next week.

Re: Accepting Auto-ON orders
Instant-on is not offered as standard and is absolutely up to each distributor whether to offer it. There are additional distribution channels in the US Would you mind listing the US distributors here that have the Instant On units available now? Compulab should know who they sent Instant On units....

Re: Accepting Auto-ON orders
What is the best/quickest way to get an Instant On unit in the United States? I spoke with a nice gentleman in Florida named Brandon from The Book PC. He has 50 units in a port somewhere and not a single Instant On. He was unaware of the Instant On feature and thought it could be handled in the bios...

Re: 160GB harddrive
By different models do you mean hard drive upgrade? We will still be able to get the instant on feature with Amazon, correct?irads wrote:Amazon sell what we send them. We are not going to offer different models there.

Re: 160GB harddrive
Do you know if Amazon will be offering a 500 GB or larger hard drive model? I did some shopping online and noticed there is only about a $10 US difference between a 160 GB and a 500 GB 5400 RPM hard drive. I do want an installed drive to avoid having to do the Windows XP install. Thanks.

Re: Ordering fit-pc2?
Any update on Amazon availability? Also, I don't see the instant on feature listed on your ordering page. Should we assume that the feature is enabled and we don't have to specify it?

Re: Ordering fit-pc2?
Do you know if they will be carrying the many flavors i.e. diskless 1.6 ghz, reboot after power loss, no wifi, or will it be one size fits all?yogev_ezra wrote:Amazon will sell in USA soon.

Re: VGA output
If you need to feed a standard computer monitor is the consensus that a USB to VGA adapter is the way to go? If so that adds about $75 US to the price of the Fit.
