So, this is embarrassing. I left the Fit un-touched and un-used while I waited for your reply. When I turned it on this morning...it worked fine. YouTube vids played smoothly. Update on my earlier post. I tried switching the browser to Chrome/Chromium, but both had dependency issues and wouldn't install. I installed the latest version of Opera and tried the videos there. Took delivery of a fitpc3 pro with Linux Mint yesterday. Using the HDMI output to the HDMI port on my TV. Out of the box default settings.
