Reading the post fit-PC3 specifications I just noticed the following description of the RS232: "Partial modem controls"

Does that mean that only a subset of the normal DB9 pins are available?

Anyone who can clarify?

On a linux system I'm trying to read the RS232 input control pins. While reading DSR and CTS I get back what I expect Reading DCD and RI fails. DCD is always high and RI is always low.
