Tried plugging another device into the analog-in of the speaker system and have the same problem with channels, so nothing to do with the PC after all!

Tried just testing alsa, to see if pulseaudio is maybe confusing things, but the result is the same. I tried to get pulseaudio out of the picture with, echo "autospawn=no" > .pulse/client.conf pulseaudio --kill I then tried speaker-test -t wav -c2 , speaker-test 1.0.25 Playback device is default Str...
