Re: Windows 10 and Intense PC

Bump. Can't give an answer to the question after it's been here for 6 months?
Microsoft is basically making Windows 10 part of the Windows Update from next week and telling everyone they should install it.
How come we can't get a yes or no recommendation from you?

Re: Windows 10 and Intense PC

Well, now Microsoft is saying it will be a free upgrade for Windows 7 and 8 users. So apparently Microsoft wants and expects millions of existing Intel PCs are going to be upgraded. Don't you think you should at least tell your users if their machine will run it successfully? Otherwise, you are crea...

Windows 10 and Intense PC

Any idea if the upcoming Windows 10 will function with the Intense PC and drivers?

If you don't know, do you have any plans to test it?

Thanks

Re: Analog audio in??

Hi-
This is what my registry looks like now.
Other than the specific "forcedisablejd" line, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to change something in the other lines.

Still no "speaker" tab in realtek audio manager.

Re: Analog audio in??

Hi-

See the attachment. I'm getting no audio output, and am missing the "speaker" tab/icon in the Realtek Management Console.

A clean windows install didn't solve the issue.

eSATA drive isn't recognized

Hi-

It's a Western Digital My Book Studio II.

Has USB, Firewire, and eSATA ports.

Works over USB and FW, but if I plug it in connected by an eSATA data cable it isn't recognized by the Intense PC.

Any advice?

BTW, the data cable is eSATA black male to male.

Thanks

http://www.dc-tech.co.il/Product.aspx?ProductID=3562

the same type? It's called eSATA data, male to male.

I need to know exactly what to buy b/c it isn't something I can get in a local store and I can't return it once it is bought and opened.

thanks

Re: Audio output

I've also tried all the suggestions here and can't get any audible analogue audio output. Not with computer speakers and not with headphones. The Sound interface of my Control Panel does show output, but no actual sound is audible. Update: Redid everything for a third time, and now I'm getting sound...
