I have so far been using the Intel ethernet LAN (outer socket) but am now trying to enable the Realtek one (inner socket) but the hardware doesn't appear to be found. It is not listed in Device Manager undeer Network Adaptors (only the Intel one is ther...

Re: USB power-off on standby?

OK, thank you, but I note the Wiki page wa sonly updated to mention this a few months after my original question, and contradicts the answer I got at the time. I appreciate that there can be situations where you want USB power to remain on in sleep, but that's what the front USB ports do. It would h...

This must be due to USB signalling rather than the power actually being removed. I do have the settings in Windows ...

Do the rear USB ports come off the same hub?

Do the two rear USB 2.0 ports come from an internal hub (and therefore share bandwidth) or are they separate?

Also wanting to find out if plugging in a slow device (e.g. keyboard) to one of them will cause the other to go at the slower speed.

Rear USB 2.0 ports - do they share bandwidth?

Hi - do the two rear USB 2.0 ports come from an internal hub (and therefore share bandwidth) or are they separate?

Also wanting to find out if plugging in a slow device (e.g. keyboard) to one of them will cuase the other to go at the slower speed.
