Re: fitpc3 video performance
Under Windows 7 watching Youtube videos makes it stutter and lag because the cpu usage is up to a 100%. Did anyone else in this post check their CPU when this happens?

Re: No sound in Windows 7 Pro
Not so fast
On booting my computer today the sound is gone. Level meters are jumping up and down to show that Spotify is playing sound but I hear nothing again. I have tried all possible configurations of checking and unchecking boxes in the Realtek HD Audio Manager.
Oh well...

Re: No sound in Windows 7 Pro
I found a fix for this! Suspecting that the only available audio device "Realtek Digital Output" only outputs data and not soundwaves I googled "Realtek Digital Output no sound windows 7" and found a lot of forum posts from people who had problems with Realtek audio cards and their drivers. Turns ou...

Re: Black border around screen in Windows 7 Pro
I have now circumvented the problem by using the included HDMI to DVI adapter and a DVI cable to my external widescreen monitor. Nothing happened at first but when I changed the resolution to something else the underscaling disappeared. I now run it on "LG 2290 (Digital) on Standard VGA Video Card" ...

Re: Black border around screen in Windows 7 Pro
Update: It seems AMD is underscanning displays that only have an HDMI input by default. A solution is proposed a bit over midway through the following thread: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/359424-15-catalyst-overscan-setting-restart-issue Problem is that I have about 8 like these starting with...

Still no luck on this one. I will try to post it in a general Windows forum.

Re: No sound in Windows 7 Pro
When I insert the headphones into the right fit-pc3 audio input there is first some soft white noise in both channels, then a little louder still in both channels, then a little softer again only in the left channel. Attached to this post is a screenshot of my pc audio device control panel playing S...

Re: Black border around screen in Windows 7 Pro
I have now installed fit-PC3_Win7_Video_2012.01.12.zip/Bin64/setup.exe. It installs something from AMD again (I don't know what) but there is still no sight of anything called a Catalyst Control Center. Has AMD replaced it with something called AMD Vision Engine Control Center?

Re: No sound in Windows 7 Pro
I have now installed the audiodrivers and the audio device is now called Realtek Digital Output. Still no sound. Funny thing is, when I first booted up I installed Firefox and after the browser was installed it took me to a website with a Firefox promotion video. The video had audio but it disappear...
